I admit, I'm more interested in aesthetics and epistemology than in metaphysics--although, and I'm sure I don't need to point this out but will do so anyway, it should be said that all three are often very much connected.)
Every time a customer asks me if I've read the latest best-selling tome of this ilk, I have to bite my tongue to keep from sputtering, "Never! Give me the real stuff!" Sigh. I'm afraid this makes me elitist. But I guess even Marx allowed for a certain degree of elitism. ; )
Reader: especially of 19th and early-20th century literature and attendant books of history and criticism.
Writer: of magazine articles (freelance), and--when I get time--of short stories, plays, this blog and that blog.
